אבי- אהבה ושקט בלב רחוב

Hi Nino,

I'm in need of your help... I adore what you do, the way you blend (and with a wide-angle, no less) into people's environment and they let you in while being fully themselves (which is so evident in your pictures). The way you actually seem to connect on some level with the people you take pictures of (you know their names, at least, so I imagine you talk, which must make the experience that much more satisfying). You capture so much both in those pictures where you catch someone being themselves (and how do you do that, so close?) and in those times when they're connecting with you, which comes across beautifullhy in a picture.

Anyway... I find myself walking the streets of Tel-Aviv and seeing so many beautiful moments, and I ache to make the transitory beauty permanent by snapping a shot, but I'm usually too afraid to ask the person, not sure how to best do it, and I hate stealing pictures, and find that people can often keep being themselves even if they know you're there taking pictures if you do it right. And I feel like I'm missing so much, and that all the pictures I'm not creating can bring so much enjoyment to me and to the people photographed if they want them, and possibly others... and I just don't know how to do it, I can't seem to pass that block (public speaking? Try being a street photographer!) I would very very much love to hear your advice, how you approach people and talk to them, what you say, and if possible I would absolutely love to shadow you on one of your photo outings. I don't have much to offer myself, except my appreciation and the promise of whatever it is I would create, as well as possibly sharing some people I gather that want to do a shooting session with me (if you're at all into that).

I would love the opportunity to leran from you
